LEILA is focused on piloting a multilingual platform which is to provide citizens and companies easy access, without intermediaries, to information on goods to be sold in judicial auctions taking place in more than one Member State. It aims to develop a European ‘one-stop-shop’ marketplace with a simple and intuitive user interface, extending national boundaries and enabling users to compare search results in different languages.
LEILA will integrate the platform with 6 existing and 1 to-be national providers’ information systems (Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Portugal, France, and Czech Republic) to retrieve the judicial auctions’ data in an automated way, while providing for manual upload and update of information where such information systems don’t exist.
Important part of the project is the development of a Sustainability Plan and an Action Plan for EU-wide adoption to ensure the existence and the further development of the platform for judicial auctions after the end of the project.
During the meeting, the partners discussed and approved key aspects of the project future development including its stages and the overall implementation plan and outlined the dissemination and evaluation strategies and criteria.
The Project Consortium is comprised of 13 partners from 11 different Member States and more than 30 partners’ experts participated in the kick-off meeting.
