LEILA Project Kick-off Meeting

On 10th March 2021, via video-conference, the 'LEILA – towards a muLtilingual European platform for judIciaL Auctions' (LEILA) Project Kick-off Meeting was held.

LEILA Project is funded by the European Commission under the Internal Security Fund – Police, Grant Agreement 101007385. It is focused on providing a pilot official multilingual platform for judicial auctions taking place in more than one EU Member State, where information about goods to be sold at judicial auctions is reported together with the related regulations.

LEILA unites altogether 13 partner organizations from 11 different Member States joining efforts towards LEILA successful implementation for the next 24 months. Project Consortium consists of official national authorities owning and/or running national providers of judicial auctions, academia, and civil society organizations.

The Kick-off Meeting, kindly hosted by the Ministry of Justice of Italy as the Project Coordinator, marked the official start of the envisaged project activities. It gathered together appointed project partners’ teams and served to facilitate a common discussion on the project’s objectives, overall project implementation plan, and partners’ obligations so everybody can start being on the same page. In addition, and certain administrative and coordination issues have been agreed upon.
